Our first ever tasting of Bell Lane Coffee was in Issue 32 of Standart Magazine, a beautifully produced journal dedicated to specialty coffee culture. The issue came with a small sample of Bell Lane beans. We brewed it, shared a sip, and that was it. It was one of those cups that reminds you why you truly enjoy specialty coffee in the first place. A light to medium body, with notes of floral, raspberry, lemongrass and caramel.

Bell Lane are based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and have been roasting since 2012. They are award winning, B Corp certified, and built on direct relationships with the farmers behind every bag. There are plenty of great articles on their website that give you a sense of what they're doing beyond the roastery, including one covering the coffee and farm featured in the Standart × Bell Lane Coffee Issue 32.
This month on MapMyBrew we're shining a light on Bell Lane. Find every café in Ireland serving their coffee on our website mapmybrew.ie. Follow their story at belllane.ie.
